Geographic Limitation

The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP) is soliciting nominations for Excellence in Science Teaching Awards. The program is open to any teacher Grades K-8 within Allegheny and surrounding county schools of the SSP membership area. Please see the list of the counties that fall within the SSP Membership Area.

Please provide the information requested in Part 1 and then give the form to your teacher nominee to complete Part 2. You may also request the form by contacting the SSP Administrative Office at sspinfo@pittcon.org or (412) 825-3220.

You are permitted to nominate two worthy teachers from your school for the award. Please use a separate copy of the application form for each nomination. The teacher nominee(s) will be responsible for mailing the completed form no later than March 16, 2009.
