Events

The SACP and SSP are dedicated to promoting science education to the masses. We achieve this goal by providing symposia, lectures, and workshops to the general public, students, and teachers.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the SACP/SSP or volunteering to help promote science education through our various programs, we encourage you to considering joining the societies.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings, held September through April, are open to the public and available to attend virtually. The Technology Forum at 5:30 PM usually hosts a speaker and topic of general science interest. Following the Technology Forum is a dinner. We conclude the evening with our Technical Program at 8:00 PM with a world-renowned speaker in a variety of scientific fields.

Lectures + Symposia

The SACP and SSP presents a variety of lectures and symposia for members of the scientific community throughout the year. The majority of our lectures and symposia are open to the public and some are even free of charge.

Workshops

The SACP and SSP offers various workshops throughout the year, ranging from teaching workshops all the way to job searching workshops. Our workshops are hands-on and always led by industry professionals.
