Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh Day

SSP Is Presented Proclamation from Pittsburgh City Council on July 30, 2013

Councilman William Peduto sponsored a proclamation acknowledging the history and importance of the SSP to Pittsburgh and science education. It was declared that July 30, 2013 would be “Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh Day” in the city of Pittsburgh in honor of the organization’s many contributions, including numerous grants, scholarships and its overall dedication to providing education and support to the scientific community.
